That's 2 1/2 weeks people!
Brad has finals all this week and then he is DONE with school! YAY! Now I might actually get to see him! He also is going to the VA today to get his fingerprints on file! Hopefully they will open up a position for him after his internship. That would be such a great job with GREAT benefits! Cross your fingers!
Nothing too exciting going on with me. Just working and waiting on May 24th.
There is about to be one less family member at our house. Poor George is driving everybody crazy. I love the cat, but seriously, how many times do I have to throw him off the kitchen counter tops before he realizes I don't want him to get on them anymore?!?!? He almost destroyed Brad's Wii this past weekend, too. (Which was entirely Brad's fault, but he wanted to blame the cat...) So if any of you readers want a year old male cat, neutered and declawed in the front, let me know! He can be yours!

My Last Wedding Shower
Yesterday, I had my last shower! Wendy Jacobs hosted and I must say, her house was absolutely gorgeous. We got a lot of good stuff! I'm actually cooking Brad supper tonight (with all my new cookware!) Everyone should be proud! And that reminds me of something. I cooked chicken and dumplings for Brad before, maybe about 3 years ago. I was on the phone with my Mom the whole time I was cooking to make sure that I was doing it right. Well Brad finally got home and SURPRISE! I cooked supper! I fixed his plate and sat it down on the table for him to eat. He sat down and started eating as I was fixing my plate. Well by the time I sat down to eat, he had already eaten all of his chicken and dumplings and was getting up to get seconds. I took a big bite of a dumpling and guess what. They were completely RAW on the inside. I said, "Oh my goodness! They aren't done!" And Brad said, "Well I thought they tasted kind of funny, but I wasn't going to say anything." And he was going to get seconds!!!!! That's true love! ANYWAY, that was way off subject! Here are some pictures from the shower!
Only 26 days left!

5 Weeks
So it's almost 5 weeks until the wedding and I am officially stressed out. So many things aren't going the way I hoped and it's very frustrating. Hopefully, nothing too stressful will happen between now and the wedding, because believe me, I've had my fair share! The only things left to do are: put together the favors and programs, finalize plans with my wedding coordinator and that's about it! Praise the LORD! It's a good thing we are only getting married once, because I couldn't do this again!! Maybe in a few weeks, I'll actually have time to start getting ready for my Honduras trip!
And poor Brad. For those that don't know, he is in his last semester of college. It's been hard on me, and I'm not even the one doing all the work! He usually works or goes to school from 8:00am to somewhere around 11:00pm every weekday and then works all day Saturday. I don't see how he does it. And believe it or not, he still finds time to cut our grass, take out the trash and listen to me nag that I never get to see him. And on top of all that, he will also be teaching our Sunday school class about twice a month, starting this Sunday. Please pray for him! I know he's very nervous about the whole situation. He is such an amazing person. He has to be to have put up with ME for six years!!
So in conclusion, please remember to keep us in your prayers for the next several weeks! We love yall!

A-DAY game!
The A-Day game was this past Saturday and of course we went! We got to the stadium around 12:15pm and it was already crowded. And the game didn't start until 2:00pm!! The entire bottom section of the stadium was full (they even closed off the gates!) and most of the upper section eventually filled up. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of sun! Brad and I placed a little wager on the game as well. If Crimson won, he paid for dinner and if White won, I paid. Well as we all know, I'm always right and Crimson won! YAY John Parker Wilson! So we decided to go eat at Wing's with Katie, Douglas, Jacob, Jason and Melanie. It was a lot of fun! We saw Lee Tiffin there and Douglas said hello to him. I bet that boosted his confidence! Here are a few pictures from our fun weekend!
My sister, Katie, and I
The field was so pretty!
Our nephew, Greyson
We hope you all have a great week! There are only 40 days to go until the Big Day!
God Bless!

Less than 50 days away!
That's right! It's getting closer! Only 7 more weeks until I'm Allison McMichael! AHH!
So yesterday, I had my second shower at Angie Pugh's house. It was mainly church family and we had a great turn out! I got soo many gifts! Thanks to all who came! Here are a few pictures:
I have come to realize that God has truly blessed me by putting some wonderful people in my life. I have made so many friends since becoming involved in church and joining the choir 3 years ago. I can't imagine my life without my church family and especially my choir family! So a special thank you to everyone at Valley View that loves and supports Brad and I and have done so since you met us. We love you!

Engagement
I just realized that a lot of family members and friends have yet to see some of our engagement pictures taken by Michael Andrew last October. So here you go!
We had SO much fun with that shoot! Our photographer has a unique style and he does AMAZING work! I highly recommend him! If you want to check out some more of his work, go to his website at www.michaelandrewphotography.com or his blog at www.michaelthemaven.com.
We had another photo shoot for my bridal portraits a few weeks ago that also turned out great! But sorry! You can't see those until after the wedding!
I hope you enjoy the engagement pictures!

Happy Birthday April!
Well it's April's birthday! The big 2-6. She's getting old! Pretty soon she'll be a grandma!! Ok, I better stop or she'll slug me. This morning, Mom and I decorated April's office with balloons, flowers, a cake and presents!

Believe me when I tell you that that cake was GOOD! Mom is cooking lasagna for lunch. It smells reallllly good! Can you believe that April and I actually have to WORK on her birthday? It's really a shame.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that it's April Fool's Day! I personally hate this holiday and believe it should be BANNED! My mother actually told me one year that she was pregnant. And or course, I believed her. Cruel mother.
But anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY APRIL!!
