Let me tell you about a typical morning at our house. Daddy leaves for work around 6:00am, Mommy is getting ready for the day and Noah has just woken up. While I’m finishing up with my hair/makeup, Noah is standing up in his bed saying “Mommy! Mommy!” like he’s calling for me to come get him!
Around 6:20am, I go into the kitchen and put Noah’s waffle in the toaster. Then I go get Noah up and change his diaper. As I’m changing his diaper, we hear the POP of the waffle coming up from the toaster. Noah immediately cuts his eyes to me and whispers “bakkel?” My heart smiles. :)
Then I tell him “Yes Noah! Your waffle!” He then proceeds to sing an original song that goes a little something this like….
“Bakkel, bakkel, bakkelbakkelbakkel, BAKKEL, (then he changes it up by singing in a high pitched voice), BAAAAAKKKKEEELLLLLLLLLLL, bakkelbakkelbakkel, bakkel”
And he continues singing this song until he gets his waffle.
Then he doesn’t say much. :) Other than on occasional PRAISE THE LORD at how good his waffle is. See below.
Man, that kid loves bakkels.

Jackson LOVES waffles! He eats one literally, every morning! I buy him the Van's whole wheat or organic berry and they are actually really good :).
That is too cute Allison! Jillian loves her bakkels too!
Love it! Trevor eats a blueberry waffle on mornings I head to work. He loves them, too.
Adorable! These are the things that you will be retelling his future wife, to his embarrassment. :)
