I rung in the new year by going to sleep at 7:30pm on New Year’s Eve. We are hard-core, I know. I thoroughly enjoyed my three day weekend by cleaning my house like a mad woman. I don’t know what came over us, but the hubs and I tag-teamed and completely cleaned out all of Noah’s room. I happily returned the borrowed breast pump to my sister and filled up our donation bin in the garage and stocked the attic with baby things. Ahhh, I love a clean house!
I have been storing every single little piece of artwork that Noah sends home from school in his armoire. And since we are only halfway through the school year and I had a stack of papers about a foot high, I decided I needed to figure out a better way of keeping his artwork. I saw the idea on Pinterest (I think). I took a picture of all of his art and am going to have a book made out of the pictures! I kept a few that had special meaning (like his very first coloring, etc.). Here are some pictures for his out-of-town family to see!
I love it!
One last thing: I stumbled on to this from another blog but I found it really helpful. It’s a calendar that gives you some small task to do every day to help de-clutter your home. Just go to www.mysimplerlife.com to get it! It’s awesome. Happy cleaning!

Totally going to have to do that for artwork, myself. Thanks for the reminder about the project! :)
