How far along? 36 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: Up 37 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Oh yeah!
Stretch marks: I can’t really tell if I have any new ones or not. I guess we will find out after the baby gets here!
Sleep: Ok. The longer I lay down, the more pressure I put on my hips. It’s no fun limping to the bathroom in the middle of the night!
Best moment this week: Game night with friends on Friday night!
Movement: He has finally slowed down a bit.
Food cravings/aversions: I’m no longer craving ice! My doctor said I am anemic, so I’ve been taking an iron supplement and I guess it’s working! Last night I craved a cheeseburger. But mostly everything just tastes funny these days. I’ll get a craving for something and as soon as I bite into it, it tastes weird to me.
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: Welllllllll, I started having contractions yesterday during church. After we ate lunch, I decided to lay down to try and get them to stop. They continued for an hour or so and I decided I better start timing them. A few were even taking my breath away. At first they were every 5 or so minutes apart, then every 2-3 minutes. I had about 18 contractions in the hour that I timed them. So I called my doctor and he told me to go to labor and delivery. We got there, they strapped me in, and BOOM. Three little teeny contractions in an hour. Why does that always happen??!?! But I am a fingertip dilated now so at least I’m making some progress. The baby is still really high so I need to start doing jumping jacks or something! :)
Belly button in or out: Out
What I miss: Nothing really. I’m just excited for Cason to get here!
What I am looking forward to: Ultrasound today to track baby’s growth! I’m hoping I’ll get to sneak in a quick 4D shot.
Weekly wisdom: It’s a good idea to have your bags packed by now! I need to finish up on that…
Milestone: One week until full term!

Man do I hate a false alarm! Had many of those with Carter. Ended up in the hospital at 1am thinking he was coming and, like you, contractions pretty much stopped as soon as I got there. So frustrating! Not much longer though!!!
