Where did my butt go??
How far along: 27 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Up 28 pounds. That's right. TWENTY EIGHT POUNDS!
Maternity clothes: Still wearing them!
Stretch marks: Same ones.....
Sleep: I tried going to sleep in my recliner but I couldn't ever get comfortable. This past week, I've been waking up at like 1 or 2am, WIDE awake and ready to go for some reason.
Best moment this week: Hearing Noah's heartbeat at the doctor AND my first shower!
Movement: Moving like crazy. Saturday morning around 4am, Noah woke me up doing his aerobics! I got up and out of bed because I seriously thought Noah would wake Brad up. He was moving the whole bed!!
Food cravings: Twix
Gender: BOY!
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: Mostly out
What I miss: Being skinny
What I am looking forward to: My shower next weekend!
Weekly wisdom: Elevate your feet as much as possible. Otherwise, your feet will swell up and HURT.
Milestone: We have officially completed all of our childbirth/breastfeeding/infant classes! Yay!
Noah and I went to the doctor on Friday. His heartrate was 150 bpm and yes, I gained 10 pounds in three weeks. So I've gained a total of 28 pounds....my doctor hasn't said anything to me about it yet but that doesn't mean I think it's ok! It sucks! But anyway, everything was great with Noah. We go back in two weeks for another appointment and for our 4D ultrasound! Yay for that! I'll post pictures from my shower as soon as I get my swollen hands on them!

Seriously?
So I'm shopping at Lowe's. I stop at the end of an aisle to look at something. An old man walks by me and lets out a loud "WOOOOOOO WEEE!!!!" I turn toward him thinking he was about to pass out or something and he is staring at me. He asks, "WHEN are you DUE?" I look at him like he is freakin NUTS and say "February 13th". Then he says, "WOO. You have a while to go!" And then he turns around and walks off! WHAT THE CRAP!!!!!!!!!

Being healthy and all that crap
My Dad is a health FREAK. The most extreme health freak I've ever met. He goes to the gym just about every day, he's always eating the nastiest stuff (protein shakes, tuna, etc.) and he seriously has less than 5% body fat. The most physically fit person EVER.
This picture is like three years old, but you get the idea!
I, on the other hand, love my french fries and Mountain Dew. If he sees me at lunch, he cringes to see a box of fried food on my desk! But I've always had a high metabolism so I've never had to worry about what I eat.
Now that I'm gaining weight and look bigger than I ever have before, my Dad has decided that his daily goal is to get me to eat healthier. Ha. Ha. Ha. I keep trying to explain to him that I do try to eat healthy now that I'm pregnant, but I just refuse to give up my french fries!
He left town for a week yesterday. So inside I'm thinking "I can really eat bad this week...no one to fuss at me!" And then I get to work this morning and see this on my desk...
A protein bar. Bless his heart. He tries so hard. He actually bought a whole box but begged me to 'just try it'.
I just tried it.....seriously the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. At least I gave it a shot though, right?

26 weeks
How far along: 26 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I'm still hoping and praying I'm at least still at +18 pounds and NO MORE! I'll find out exactly at the doctor Friday!
Maternity clothes: All the time!
Stretch marks: I've dreaded this question all week......In the past week I've noticed like FIVE stretch marks on my hiney......my butt hasn't gotten bigger though! What the crap! Stupid stretch marks...
Sleep: Slowly becoming more and more uncomfortable. I'm going to try to sleep in my recliner one night this week and see if that helps any.
Best moment this week: Noah's bassinet arriving!
Movement: He usually has one day a week where he moves like crazy all day and that didn't happen this week. Maybe he's mellowing out :o)
Food cravings: Pizza
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: I thought I was having a Braxton-Hicks contraction this morning....but now I think it was just gas.
Belly button in or out: A little bit out!
What I miss: Not having constant back pain
What I am looking forward to: My first shower on Sunday!
Weekly wisdom: Don't forget to rub the prevent-stretch-marks-cream on your BUTT, too.
Milestone: Are lactating and stretch marks considered a milestone?

Moo
Let me start this post out with a warning. This post will probably be way too much information for you. Some of you may be utterly disgusted. Ha. That's funny. Anyway, if you don't like reading about other people's bodily functions, read no further. BUT if you want to know what REALLY goes on with a 25 week pregnant girl, then go ahead. Read.
Ok. So about a week ago I woke up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I looked down and noticed a spot on the left side of my shirt that looked like it had been wet and then dried. I figured Bella must have slobberred on me during the night...no big deal. Until a few days later I noticed it again...and around the same spot. At that point I thought-hmmm maybe I'm leaking? But I really didn't think much else of it. Fast forward to Saturday night. I am again standing in the bathroom, getting ready for bed. I look in the mirror and there are a few wet spots on the left side of my shirt! I pulled up my shirt to investigate and sure enough-I was leaking!! I'm sorry, but seeing liquid come out of my boob for the first time is the weirdest thing I think I've ever seen. I showed Brad my new trick...he wasn't as amazed as I was. :o)
THEN Sunday night Brad unexpectedly had to work from 5pm-11:30pm. I went to church that night and then went to see him at work afterwards. I tried to linger around as long as I could so that I could see him....and I realllly don't like going home to an empty house at night. But I eventually had to leave so he could get his work done....and I boo-hooed all the way home. I fell asleep around 10:00pm. I woke up when Brad got home a little after 11:30pm and I noticed a wet spot on the bed. I thought Bella must have been chewing on her feet or something which would make a wet spot on the bed...until I looked down. The ENTIRE left side of my shirt was soaked. I mean a spot like five inches in diameter! I soaked my shirt AND got the bed wet!!
So there you go. My newest pregnancy happenings. I just think it's weird that only one side is leaking. But from what I've heard, that's normal. And the funny thing is, we had all this excitement leading up to our breastfeeding class tonight! I'll let yall know how that goes. So mommies....did this happen to you during pregnancy? Did you find it to be worse when you were upset about something? I need details!

Total weight gain/loss: I haven't weighed myself since I went to the doctor last week....so I'm going to stick with the +18 pounds!
Maternity clothes: I went through another bag of clothes this weekend that were too big for me in early pregnancy. They all fit now!
Stretch marks: Still none!
Sleep: Sleep was great every night but last night. I woke up wide awake at 2:30am STARVING to death. So I ate two things of yogurt and a plate of mini corndogs.....the corndogs gave me horrible indigestion and I couldn't go back to sleep until like 4am!
Best moment this week: Just knowing that we had another week under our belt!
Movement: He is still moving like crazy!
Food cravings: Snickers with ALMONDS!
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: None!
Belly button in or out: A little out!
What I miss: Being able to quickly put on a pair of socks!
What I am looking forward to: Our breastfeeding class coming up this week!
