Moo

Let me start this post out with a warning. This post will probably be way too much information for you. Some of you may be utterly disgusted. Ha. That's funny. Anyway, if you don't like reading about other people's bodily functions, read no further. BUT if you want to know what REALLY goes on with a 25 week pregnant girl, then go ahead. Read.

Ok. So about a week ago I woke up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I looked down and noticed a spot on the left side of my shirt that looked like it had been wet and then dried. I figured Bella must have slobberred on me during the night...no big deal. Until a few days later I noticed it again...and around the same spot. At that point I thought-hmmm maybe I'm leaking? But I really didn't think much else of it. Fast forward to Saturday night. I am again standing in the bathroom, getting ready for bed. I look in the mirror and there are a few wet spots on the left side of my shirt! I pulled up my shirt to investigate and sure enough-I was leaking!! I'm sorry, but seeing liquid come out of my boob for the first time is the weirdest thing I think I've ever seen. I showed Brad my new trick...he wasn't as amazed as I was. :o)

THEN Sunday night Brad unexpectedly had to work from 5pm-11:30pm. I went to church that night and then went to see him at work afterwards. I tried to linger around as long as I could so that I could see him....and I realllly don't like going home to an empty house at night. But I eventually had to leave so he could get his work done....and I boo-hooed all the way home. I fell asleep around 10:00pm. I woke up when Brad got home a little after 11:30pm and I noticed a wet spot on the bed. I thought Bella must have been chewing on her feet or something which would make a wet spot on the bed...until I looked down. The ENTIRE left side of my shirt was soaked. I mean a spot like five inches in diameter! I soaked my shirt AND got the bed wet!!

So there you go. My newest pregnancy happenings. I just think it's weird that only one side is leaking. But from what I've heard, that's normal. And the funny thing is, we had all this excitement leading up to our breastfeeding class tonight! I'll let yall know how that goes. So mommies....did this happen to you during pregnancy? Did you find it to be worse when you were upset about something? I need details!

Oh wow! I did have a very small amount of leaking toward the end, but nothing like what you are experiencing. But think positively, maybe it means that you will have no problems breast feeding! Who knows...
My milk did not come in for like a week and it stressed me out SOOOO bad and the lacation nurses were very contradictory... One minute they would tell me to do this, next minute they would tell me not to do that...and I never knew if I was doing anything right. It was so stressful and my milk dried up. So my best advice for you, as far as brest feeding, DO NOT STRESS!!! I hope you learn something good at the class and pray that you have better luck than I did!!!

My boobs never leaked but exactly 24 hours after I delivered (I mean literally!!!) my milk came in and I had enough to feed a small orphanage in Uganda. I was in the shower and I had what I thought was reappearing soap dripping all the way to my feet. I soon realized it was not soap :) My boobs leaked then some but not bad and within a few days it was gone.

I leaked around the same time you are. I thought it was neat too and I knew I just getting closer to having Delsie! Its normal and it probably happens just from the pressure. You may notice it happen in a hot shower too. Ya might want to start wearing those breastfeeding pads that go in your bra!!

Yep! I definitely have had leaky boobs for the past month or so. I was SO surprised the first time I noticed it; now I've come to expect the little wet spot on my t-shirts when I'm braless. It's such a weird feeling though, I agree. And, like yours, my husband wasn't anywhere near as fascinated by it as I was. :)
