As promised, here is an updated picture of my grandmother's garden quilt. Sorry the picture is so dark, I don't know why it did that. I whipped out a flower in no time on my machine but it puckered a lot so I decided that I really just need to hand quilt this one. The shapes are so hard to work with on the machine.
I've been shopping a lot lately at the fabric stores in town getting a rotary cutter and mat, pins, needles, etc. and while shopping I found a 'quilt in a bag', as I have named it. The bag contained the fabric in the picture below and instructions for making a baby quilt. So I'm going to be working on that, too.
I got started on the Safari quilt last night and I am hoping that one won't take me long at all.
Now to change the subject, let's talk about baby making! Thank you all so much for the love and support you have shown me. I tend to let my mind run farther than it should sometimes and now I think I got a little carried away with the whole situation. So thank you again for the kind words. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we are PG!
