So....I'm going crazy. I'm about to POP with anxiety to know what this baby is! My original appointment was at 9am on the 25th. I called my doctor's office and told a liiiiittle white lie (bad Allison, I know) and said that I needed to reschedule my appointment because my husband wouldn't be able to make my original one. Hee hee. I said, "Do you have anything like....the week before??" Sneaky sneaky! So my appointment has been reschuduled to....the freakin day before. 3:30pm on the 24th. Not much of an improvement, but it's a few hours shaved off, right?
Then I have a friend that went up to Virginia College in Birmingham to have an ultrasound done. The techs in training will perform an ultrasound on your for FREE. But...they only perform them during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Birmingham is an hour away from where we live, so that's out.
THEN my very very lovely hair dresser, Rissie, has a friend that works somewhere that performs ultrasounds (a radiology clinic maybe?) so she's going to try her best to get my an appointment soon!
So I'll update as soon as I find out more information!

You better not schedule it too soon or it won't help! What if it is a boy and its just too soon to see! I feel bad for April!!
Bit patient, Mommy?
When I was pregnant I used to do the same thing. I was obsessed with ultrasounds and couldn't wait to have them. Luckily, when I was only 9 weeks pregnant they told me that the baby was measuring small, so ended up having soooo many ultrasounds...like every month they did one. My "measuring small" baby turned out to weigh almost 10 pounds, 23 1/2 inches long and now is a 6'7" 15-year-old.
That's true what Beverly said, though, you don't want it to be too soon for them to tell what it is.
I was 17 weeks when I found out I was having a BOY, and "boy" was I excited. (I really, really wanted a boy.)
Good luck!
