My step-dad finally gave me some pictures from Noah’s baby dedication so here are a few more for your viewing pleasure:
In other news…
I have completely fallen off the diet train. I lost 27 pounds, then gained three back, then lost two, then gained one, etc. As of this morning, I am still four pounds heavier than I was pre-pregnancy. I want to lost those plus 12 more and that’s never going to happen with me slacking all the time. So the diet is back ON (except for on my anniversary when Brad is taking me to my FAVORITE restaurant EVER and next weekend when we and some friends go to the beach! I have been craving some good seafood….IF we can even get any seafood…stupid oil spill…)
Anyway, for some reason Noah has been waking up twice a night for the past couple of weeks. 12am and 4am without fail. We’ve tried keeping him up later and later (even until 10:30pm), we’ve tried giving him more to eat before bed, nothing works. Any ideas? I’m hoping that once we start solids in a few weeks (if the pediatrician gives us the go ahead) that will help tie him over through the night.
Happy Thursday and Happy Grey’s Anatomy season finale night! Woo Hoo!

Hopefully he will start sleeping through the night soon. Grace will go a good while of sleeping through the night, and then she might have a few nights in a row that she wakes up several times. That's just how it is with babies, I guess...?
And double Woo Hoo!!! for Grey's finale! I watched the first few minutes of it on ABC.com and i just don't know if I'm ready for this! Haha!
Noah is so cute!
I have read that when babies, who typically sleep through the night, start waking up at night they are more than likely ready to start solids. Hopefully that will help!
I also just finished reading The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems and found lots of great tips on sleeping.
OMGosh, love that last picture!! Im planning on watching Greys too. Cant wait to see what happens. :)
My daughter is a week younger than your son- same issue with the night feedings! She came home sleeping 6 hours straight, now the last two weeks gets up twice a night! Tried the extra feeding, going to bed later, nothing! I do remember the same thing happening with my first child. The ped told me it is often a growth/developmental phase and that he would likely return to his normal sleep pattern shortly, and he did! So here's hoping they do too : )
For falling off the diet you look great! Don't fret about Noah, because he will most likely go through phases where he sleeps better.
